Advancement through the company does take some time and is very competitive. Other than the competitive nature of the staff it is overall a really great company to work for. Yes No 2. They make you feel bad about it. Yes 5 No 1. I really enjoyed the people there. I liked making conversation and meeting different people who came in to donate and why they decided to donate plasma. Management would buy pizza often and really cared about their staff. It was a very positive place to work. Yes 2 No 1. Would you recommend working at your company? I love working here. Great place, great people, great perks! I miss BioLife! I would tell everybody to apply here! I learned souch while working for biolife? Yes 1 No 1. Solid work environment but the hierarchy has room to improve. Great benefits and pto. Flexible scheduling but only mildly family friendly. Job security and company resources are plentiful.
Free Meals and snacks occasionally. Employee emotional support system. Yes No. Everyday I had a lot of job duties that I had to complete.
I had too answer phones, answer all questions that donors had, make sure the donors kids were watched every minute. I also had to clean everything that I touched, my work area, clean every toy by hand with 1. I had to put everything back where it was from the place where I got it. I learned so much about medical terminology. How to file medical files, how to fallow strict rules from the FDA, and how to be a people person. My co-workers were amazing.
They loved to help everyone if they needed help. We all cared about one another. The management was very different from what I was used too.

They had their favorites and partied with them. I didn't agree to a lot of stuff they did but I still loved my job. My favorite part of my job was the people. I love working with people and getting to know them. Yes 4 No 2. A typical day at work would consist of getting donor ready for the plasmapherisis process. Once the donor was connected to the autopherisis c machine I would have an hour to keep my donors entertained. Some days I wouldnt want to leave work because it was so fun.
I learned a lot of my management skills at Biolife as well as met some of my best friends. The hardest part of the job was trying to keep everyone happy which was impossible to do.

The best part of the job was meeting all the donors and workers. The donors kept my day alive. There was never a dull moment at the plasma donation center. See more BioLife Plasma Services reviews. A for profit Company. Nurses get very little respect. Are expected to do physicals and respond to reactions only.
Expected to stay in their own area. Fun depending on the center. I woked in Nampa, ID and loved it there is room to move up and coworkers are wonderful. In Lacey WA, I dont enjoy my job as mush they have to many center policies and makes my job so much more difficult.
But coworkers are really nice. Horrible Nursing job. This is not the type of Company I would want to work for again. Very profit motivated with little concern for their employees or customers. Way too much drama between depts. Know what you are getting into. Friendly and clean atmosphere with advancement opportunities. There is no such thing as a typical day, although you will be doing the same duties it will always be a different experience.
As a phlebotomist you will be required to learn proper phlebotomy practices, monitor patients and resolve issues concerning venipuncture and donor reactions. Great Place to work.here

It is a open environment that is kept light hearted and we are always encouraging to each other to do are best. Hardest part is managing all your donors and constantly communicating when it is busy.
